AI Product Manager

Role Overview

Fizz Dev is seeking an AI Product Manager to define and deliver AI products that create measurable customer and business value.

You will connect customer problems, company strategy, model capabilities, engineering constraints, and responsible AI practices. You will manage the full product lifecycle, from customer discovery and prioritization through development, launch, measurement, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Define Fizz Dev’s AI product strategy, roadmap, and priorities.
• Conduct customer research to identify high-value AI opportunities.
• Translate customer needs into requirements, workflows, user stories, and evaluation criteria.
• Partner with engineering and data teams to evaluate technical feasibility and model performance.
• Define success metrics covering adoption, quality, retention, revenue, productivity, and cost.
• Design experiments and evaluation frameworks for AI-generated outputs.
• Prioritize initiatives based on customer value, strategic fit, technical feasibility, and risk.
• Manage tradeoffs involving accuracy, latency, cost, explainability, privacy, and safety.
• Coordinate remote product launches across engineering, design, sales, marketing, customer success, legal, and security.
• Develop product positioning, internal enablement, and customer-facing materials.
• Monitor performance and use customer feedback to improve the product.
• Incorporate responsible AI and governance requirements into product decisions.

Required Qualifications

• 5 or more years of product-management experience.
• Experience delivering technical, data, automation, machine-learning, or AI products.
• Strong understanding of product discovery, prioritization, experimentation, and lifecycle management.
• Ability to collaborate with engineers on APIs, model behavior, data flows, and system architecture.
• Experience defining measurable outcomes and analyzing product performance.
• Strong customer-research and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to make decisions when requirements or model behavior are uncertain.
• Strong remote communication, documentation, and facilitation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience launching generative AI or machine-learning products.
• Experience with enterprise software, workflow automation, or developer tools.
• Familiarity with model evaluation, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation, and human-review workflows.
• Experience collaborating with privacy, security, legal, and compliance teams.
• Technical, analytics, or product-design experience.

Success Measures

During the first year, the AI Product Manager will:

• Establish a clear AI product strategy and prioritized roadmap.
• Launch AI capabilities that achieve defined adoption and business goals.
• Implement a reliable process for evaluating model quality and customer value.
• Improve alignment across product, engineering, go-to-market, legal, and security teams.
• Build a validated pipeline of future AI opportunities based on customer research.

Compensation

Base salary: $165,000 to $215,000 USD per year.

Target bonus: 10% to 15% of base salary. This is an annual performance-based target and is not guaranteed; actual awards depend on company and individual performance.

Actual base salary within the posted range depends on experience, skills, location, and other job-related factors.
